It is with immense joy that I share this elegant black tie San Francisco City Hall wedding with you. I photographed this wedding with my dear friend, Cassie, as her second photographer. The morning started at St. Regis Hotel where both the bride and groom got ready with their closest friends and family members. The air was heavy with excitement and anticipation of the wedding ceremony which took place at the incredible St. Ignatius Church.
The main cathedral at St. Ignatius Church is breathtakingly epic. It’s grand architecture creates the most beautiful, meaningful space for ceremonies such as this. The bride’s gown perfectly floated down the long aisle of the church and was the perfect compliment to the cathedral. I love that this couple’s ceremony location also mimicked the reception location. Both classic monuments of San Francisco and both so incredibly unique in their own way.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to another epic architectural landmark of the city – San Francisco City Hall. The reception space was gorgeously designed and the mauve and gold neutral palate went hand in hand with the timeless classic style of city hall. One of my favorite moments was the bride and groom’s grand entrance down the main staircase depending to all of their friends and family.
