Part two of Daniel and Jillian’s Kauai elopement is live and now I am sharing some of my all time favorite images from our time at Shipwreck Beach!
It was just as the sun was setting when we ran out onto the beach and this incredible magic happened. Such a perfect way to end an incredible day! From the colors of the landscape to Daniel and Jillian’s incredible style, and the joy that exuded from their smiles, it is easy to say that this was one of the best parts of our Kauai adventure!
This Beach is one of the largest expanses of beach along Keoneloa Bay. The beach is named after an old wooden shipwreck that was partially buried in the sand above the waterline and slightly left off center on the beach. Storms would uncover the top part of the hull for a while and then another high tide would later re-bury it. The ship hasn’t been seen since 1982. SO COOL!!!
