Tiburon Engagement Portraits with Joe & Lauren

15

Dec

Joe and Lauren’s engagement portrait session was the perfect blend of adventure, romance, and heartfelt moments—including their very special labrador, Howard. Set against some of Marin County’s most iconic backdrops, their Tiburon engagement portraits captured not only breathtaking scenery, but the love they share as a couple and as a family.

From sweeping hilltop views at Ring Mountain to blue hour magic with the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco skyline at Cavallo Point, this session felt personal, timeless, and deeply meaningful.

Golden Hour Magic at Ring Mountain in Tiburon

We began Joe and Lauren’s engagement session at Ring Mountain in Tiburon, one of my favorite locations for Tiburon engagement portraits. With rolling hills, open space, and panoramic Bay views, it’s the perfect place for a relaxed and natural start to a session.

Joe and Lauren made sure to include their beloved labrador, Howard, who is such an important part of their story. Watching the three of them walk through the tall grass together during golden hour was incredibly special. Howard’s calm presence and gentle personality added an extra layer of warmth and authenticity to their engagement portraits.

Including your dog in engagement photos is always a beautiful way to tell a fuller story, and Howard fit seamlessly into the session—whether he was sitting proudly between them or tagging along on their sunset walk.

Blue Hour Romance at Cavallo Point

After golden hour, we headed to Cavallo Point to take advantage of the soft, romantic blue hour light. This is one of my favorite settings for Tiburon engagement portraits, especially when the Golden Gate Bridge begins to glow and the San Francisco city skyline comes to life in the background.

Joe and Lauren shared quiet, intimate moments as the sky shifted into cool blue tones, creating a cinematic and timeless feel. The contrast between the natural landscapes of Ring Mountain and the iconic Bay views at Cavallo Point made their engagement session feel thoughtfully curated and uniquely theirs.

Cocktails & Cozy Moments to End the Night

To finish the evening, Joe and Lauren headed inside the bar at Cavallo Point to enjoy a cocktail together. After exploring the hills and soaking in the views, this final part of the session felt like a true date night—relaxed, celebratory, and intimate.

From cozy seating to clinking glasses and soft laughter, these moments beautifully reflected who they are together. Ending their Tiburon engagement portraits with a quiet cocktail was the perfect way to transition from adventure to elegance.

Why Tiburon Is Perfect for Engagement Portraits (Especially with Your Dog)

Tiburon offers an incredible variety of scenery, making it ideal for engagement sessions—especially for couples who want to include their dog. From open trails like Ring Mountain to scenic overlooks and refined locations like Cavallo Point, Tiburon engagement portraits allow for a seamless blend of lifestyle, romance, and iconic Northern California views.

Joe, Lauren, and Howard’s session is a perfect example of how engagement portraits can feel personal, meaningful, and full of life.
