Johnny & Amy’s Snowy Baby Announcement

11

Feb

When Amy explained her vision for this snowy baby announcement, I was elated! Johnny, Amy, and I took a road trip up to Arnold, California to document their baby announcement. Amy was really hoping for snow the day that we scheduled and when we pulled in to Calaveras Big Trees, it looked like Narnia – IT. WAS. AMAZING!

You might remember seeing these two on the blog before, and in the snow no less! Just about a year ago, we adventured up to Yosemite for their snowy portrait session and now we are back in a winter wonderland for their snowy baby announcement.

As a photographer, touristy locations can be a little distracting, but Calaveras Big Trees in the snow was so perfect. The snow blanketed the trees and the ground completely creating a quiet surrounding. It was sweet to see Johnny and Amy spend this time together and focus on one another and their sweet babe.

I am so excited to see my sweet friend become a momma, she will be amazing!!!! Enjoy a few of my favorite moments from our time spent up in Arnold for their snow baby announcement!
