2015 is a year full of BIG, audacious goals. There are so many exciting things planned and in the works for my business and in my personal life. Tomorow’s post will share more on those goals, but today I want to share an exciting new adventure! The Pursuit Community Oakland group! If you haven’t heard of Pursuit community before, you can find out more HERE. To sum it up, Pursuit Community (formerly Pursuit 31) a Christian community of creative entrepreneurs (photographers, bloggers, writers, shop owners, calligraphers, and graphic designers). This group of creatives are dedicated to cultivating the art of community and building the Kingdom of God as He uses us in our families, neighborhoods, and the world. What I love about being a part of this group, is how fast I was able to make friends with like-minded women across the country! I literally can say, I have at least one connection in, most if not, ALL 50 states! This community has had a hand in helping me grow my business immensely and create long lasting friendships with some pretty incredible women!!

To kick off this new year, I happily welcomed the idea to lead the small group based out of Oakland! In early January I hosted our first monthly meetup of 2015 and oh my goodness did we have a great time! We chatted about life, faith, our dreams and goals for the year over some yummy, homemade scones and coffee. (Coffee and scones are ALWAYS better shared with sweet friends! :)) What a great plan that God has laid out for each of us. As we chatted, we had the opportunity to create vision boards illustrating goals for our businesses, personal life,  and our faith for the year 2015. I loved getting to know a couple sweet ladies in the area, learning about their businesses, and being able to connect with understanding souls.

I want to share some images from our gathering and extend an invite to creatives in the Oakland area to join us!
