“Catie was the photographer for our wedding. She was so organized and professional; she captured our moments effortlessly and fluently. For us, our wedding day was one of the most stressful moments in our life. I did not feel beautiful or like this day was anything remotely close to what I imagined as a little girl. I was so very disappointed in the way our wedding turned out; I requested not to see our photos until 6 months later. I was not looking forward to remembering that day; however, when we received the photos to our amazement they were beautiful! She captured the love that I have for my husband and not the way I felt that day. So very grateful she would share her talent with our family!”

A well-considered timeline does more than keep the day moving. It creates space to be present, enjoy the people you’ve gathered, and allow meaningful moments to unfold without feeling rushed.

I’ve gathered five of the things I consider when helping my couples shape a wedding-day timeline that supports both the experience and the photographs.
